Meet The Doctor
Dr. Paul Wharton, DDS
Raised in Dayton, Dr. Wharton earned his undergraduate degree in biology and his DDS, magma cum laude, from The Ohio State University. Discussing and educating patients on their best dental options, allowing them to make informed treatment decisions, is something Dr. Wharton is passionate about. Oral surgery, restorative and cosmetic dentistry are of particular interest. Outside of the dental world, you can find Dr. Wharton spending time with his wife Serena and little girl Navey Jo, attending concerts, and trying new foods.
Meet The Team
Serena Wharton – Dental Hygienist
Serena Wharton was born and raised in Greenville Ohio. She graduated from Rhodes State College with her degree in dental hygiene. She is passionate about creating a comfortable, enjoyable dental visit for all her patients while also giving them confidence to show their best smile. Outside of work, Serena enjoys cycling, cooking, and most of all loves spending time with her husband, Dr. Wharton, and their daughter Navey Jo.
Cierra Huelsman – Office Manager
Cierra is passionate about the dental field. She is always willing to help if you have insurance issues and will work with the team to get you scheduled as quickly as possible during dental emergencies. She resides in Versailles with her husband and daughter and has several Golden Retrievers. Cierra is a registered dental hygienist who holds additional licensure in expanded functions duties, local anesthetic, and nitrous oxide administering and monitoring.
Tyla Bergman – Dental Hygienist
Tyla graduated from Rhodes State College with her degree in dental hygiene. She strives to educate patients on how their oral health impacts their overall well being. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her two rescue animals Malie and P. Tyla is certified in administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.
Kelly Lunsford – Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Kelly finds changing a person’s smile to be very rewarding. She sings to every patient and tries to have as much fun as she can in a dental environment. Kelly loves going to concerts, her French bulldog Maya, and hanging out with friends. Her favorite thing about the practice is the environment they provide and enjoys coming to work everyday. Her education is in dental assisting and also has her EFDA credentials, and is a member of the Ohio EFDA Association.
Alexus Booker – Dental Assistant
Alexus is passionate about being a dental assistant and helping give others a smile they love. She is very easy to approach and talk to. In her spare time, she loves traveling and new things. She stays busy by hanging out with friends, siblings, and her cat Lucy. Her favorite thing about the office is that the energy is always positive. Alexus has her radiology certification and CPR certification.
Maggie Sosby – Dental Assistant
Maggie is a dental assistant who loves creating a welcoming and fun environment for each patient. She looks forward to being the first person patients see on the clinical side and having meaningful conversations with each one. In her free time, Maggie loves going to concerts, spending time with friends, and with her husband and cats. Maggie has her dental assisting radiography license and her CPR certification.
